The Board of Regents held a virtual meeting Monday to discuss COVID-19.
The announcement comes as the governor closed the state's casinos, racetracks and simulcast betting facilities indefinitely.

It would have allowed "mature" 16-year-olds to consent without parental permission.
The proposed legislation would create a council to advise the University System of Maryland on student-athlete concerns.
