What to watch for Maryland: Outside shooting

Maryland has not been a good three-point shooting team this season. The Terps’ 31.3% clip from behind the arc is 280th in the country. Despite their outside shooting woes, the Terps still attempt nearly 24 shots per game from three. In Maryland’s win on the road against Northwestern, the team shot 33 threes, making 13. If the Terps want to pull off another road victory, they will need a similar shooting performance.

What to watch for Indiana: Trayce Jackson-Davis

Indiana’s freshman big man was one of the most heralded recruits in the country. The McDonald’s All-American has made an impact this season, leading the Hoosiers in both points and rebounds per game. In Indiana’s prior meeting with Maryland this season, he was limited to just seven points and five rebounds. With Jalen Smith stringing together impressive performances, Jackson-Davis will have to step up to make a difference for Indiana.
