Students in the program can get credit for their volunteering and connect it to their classwork.
“Being a part of Good Neighbor Day helps beautify the county in the city of College Park," said Elizabeth Hewlett, chair of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission and the Prince George’s County Planning Board.
The event included in-person cleanups and virtual workshops.
Meaningful and useful service requires education.
Workers helped in more than 20 projects around the city.
