The eight-hour event featured eight guest speakers, chalking, therapy dogs, thrift shop pop-ups and raffles. It also included the new addition of a mental health resources table to support sexual assault victims on this university’s campus.
PSA co-President Amanda Sherman said she wanted this intersectionality to include more people of color, the LGBTQ+ community, low-income students and international students.
The proposed measures would compel schools to allow transgender students to use bathrooms that align with their gender identity, bar gender identity-based harassment and ensure others are using their correct pronouns.
