University of Maryland Facilities Management has resolved a hot water outage in five dorms, according to a Thursday afternoon email from Residential Facilities to North Hill community residents.
As of 12:15 p.m., water temperatures have returned to normal ranges, the email said. The hot water outage, announced in a Thursday morning email from Residential Facilities, included Anne Arundel, Dorchester, Queen Anne’s, Somerset and St. Mary’s halls.
The outage was caused by issues with equipment that provides hot water to the dorms, according to the Thursday morning email.
