Hot water has returned to University of Maryland dorms after a campuswide steam outage, according to an email sent Monday morning by Residential Facilities.
According to an email sent at about 7 a.m., Facilities Management completed repairs on Monday morning and expects hot water levels to return to “normal ranges” within two to three hours.
The repairs come after all dorms at this university were left without hot water Sunday night due to a steam outage, according to an email sent Sunday night by residential facilities.
The outage did not affect cold water in dorms across campus, the Sunday email said.
Students were able to access hot water through showers at Eppley Recreation Center.
