Beginning Saturday, the College Park Metro Station is closed through early September for platform renovations.
The Greenbelt, Prince George’s Plaza and West Hyattsville stations will also be closed through Sept. 6.
The closures are part of the Metro’s Platform Improvement Project, which will reconstruct outdoor platforms at 20 Metro stations. As part of the project, 11 stations in Virginia have undergone renovations, in addition to two stations on the blue and silver lines.
