Election Day polls across the country open Tuesday, but millions of voters have cast their ballots ahead of Nov. 3.
In Prince George’s County, more than 260,000 voters requested mail-in ballots, according to the Maryland Board of Elections. More than 1.6 million requested mail-in ballots in Maryland.
Ahead of Nov. 3, Maryland residents also cast ballots in person at more than 75 polling sites. At the University of Maryland’s Xfinity Center in College Park, 991 ballots were counted as of Nov. 2, according to the Maryland Board of Elections.
