The 2019 Big Ten Return Specialist of the Year received more honors this week for his return excellence.
Javon Leake was named to the 2019 Pro Football Focus All-Big Ten Team as a kick returner, finishing arguably the greatest season by a kick returner in program history.

The junior was third in the nation with 804 kickoff return yards, 13th with 26.8 yards per return and tied for second with two return touchdowns.

Leake, who decided to forgo his senior season by declaring for the NFL Draft Wednesday, finished his college career with three kick return touchdowns, tied for the most in program history.

He leaves Maryland with 1,487 kick return yards — fifth-most in Terrapin history — 1,110 career rushing yards and 17 rushing touchdowns.
Overall, three Terps were mentioned in the selections, with senior defensive back Antoine Brooks Jr. receiving an Honorable Mention at cornerback and freshman Nick Cross receiving All-Big Ten Third Team honors at safety.
