If you haven’t heard, former Maryland basketball player Jake Layman is now a starter on the Portland Trail Blazers.
Layman has started his season seeing a nice boost in playing time, averaging 13.7 minutes per game after playing just 5.8 minutes per game in his first two seasons in the pros.
On Monday, Layman showed why he’s spending more time on the court with this alley-oop against the Washington Wizards.

Perhaps even more important than Layman’s dunk was his costume.

The Blazers lost to the Wizards 125-124, but at the very least, Jake Layman’s costume was a big win.
