The Terrapins football team picked up two more commitments Saturday, including one from a four-star quarterback, giving coach DJ Durkin three class of 2017 commitments over the past two days.

Friday, four-star defensive tackle Camaron Spence picked the Terps.

Kasim Hill, a pro-style quarterback from St. John’s College High School, is Rivals’ No. 2 player in the state. After Hill announced his commitment, three-star Good Counsel linebacker Ayinde Eley committed to the Terps.

When Hill arrives at Maryland, he’ll likely join a quarterbacking unit with 2016 three-star recruit Tyrrell Pigrome, 2016 two-star recruit Max Bortenschlager and current redshirt freshman Gage Shaffer.

Spence, a 6-foot-2, 309-pound defensive lineman, attends IMG Academy in Florida. While working at Florida, Durkin helped land four consecutive top-11 recruiting classes.
