Outdoor dining will be open at 50 percent capacity.
The restrictions limit gatherings to 25 people outdoors and 10 people indoors.
County Executive Angela Alsobrooks made the announcement in a Thursday press conference.
The task force will review the department’s operations, including hiring, training and use of force policies.
The announcement comes one day after former chief Hank Stawinski resigned.
A 94-page report released Thursday alleged that the department was entrenched in systemic racism.
In-store retail shopping will also be allowed to resume.
The meeting took place less than 24 hours after the county's police department suspended three officers.
The statement comes as Prince George's County gears up to reopen on June 1.
Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan announced that the state will reopen Friday.
