Left-hander Robert Galligan and right-hander Ryan Selmer have served as mentors to the Terps’ seven freshman in the bullpen to help the unit overcome its shortcomings.

Bloom and Shaffer have ERAs of 2.10 and 2.51, respectively.

The left-hander, who helped the Terps escape two jams against the Golden Gophers, is the only reliever on the team with an ERA below 4.30.

Right-handers Taylor Bloom and Brian Shaffer have sub-2.60 ERAs while preseason All-American Mike Shawaryn anchors the staff.

The former shortstop won the starting job at the corner infield spot.

The Terps are 4-0 when wearing their camouflage jerseys.
