In this year’s College Park election, two of four city council districts are contested and the mayoral race is uncontested.
The two contested races are in Districts 2 and 3, where three candidates are running for two council positions.
During recent forums, debates and meet-ups, candidates have pitched their ideas to voters.
Important topics for council candidates include affordable housing, incentivizing businesses to come to College Park and city development.
Election day is Nov. 7 and polls will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the College Park Community Center.
