All University of Maryland students, staff and faculty can schedule a COVID-19 vaccine appointment through the health center’s online portal, according to a campuswide Thursday email from Dr. Spyridon Marinopoulos.
The announcement comes on the coattails of a pilot program to vaccinate employees facing barriers to vaccination, Marinopoulos wrote in the email.
The university received an initial case of 1,170 Pfizer vaccines to run the clinic at the Riggs Alumni Center, but the institution has received an additional limited supply, according to the email.
All Marylanders 16 and older are eligible for vaccination at state-run mass sites. They can register here.
