Following an unexpected water main failure, the South Campus Dining Hall will close at 7 p.m. today and the South Campus Commons Shop will close at 8 p.m.
In an email, Dining Services spokesperson Bart Hipple wrote the dining hall is expected to open at the normal time tomorrow.
Restaurants in Stamp Student Union that accept dining dollars will be open until 10 p.m., Hipple said. An email sent to the campus community provided the locations of other dining halls that will be open until their normal closing times tonight, including North Campus Dining Hall and 251 North.
The university’s Facilities Management department wasn’t available for comment.
