Three-star defensive end B’Ahmad Miller (St. Frances Academy) verbally committed to the Maryland football team after its 50-7 homecoming win over Purdue on Saturday afternoon.

The 6-foot-3, 235-pound Elkton native opted for Maryland over West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Illinois and Temple among others.

Miller is the No.15 recruit in Maryland and the No. 31 strong-side defensive end in the class of 2017, according to 247sports. Miller is the third defensive lineman in the 2017 class, joining Cam Spence and Joshua Kaindoh, who were both at Maryland Stadium for the game.

Miller is the 11th member of the 2017 class to hail from D.C., Maryland or Virginia.
