University of Maryland Police are investigating an indecent exposure that took place Monday morning in the plaza area of Tawes Hall, according to a University Police notice.

A female student reported to police at about 5:19 a.m. that she heard noises while she was working out, only to turn around and discover a naked man behind her, according to the notice.

The man began to work out with the victim and then attempted to talk to her, after which the victim notified police, according to the notice. The suspect then fled on foot through the path between Tawes Hall and the Art-Sociology Building toward parking lot 1B.
