After dropping its first home game since Dec. 3, 2014, the Terrapins men’s basketball team fell four spots in the most recent Associated Press Poll to No. 6.

The Terps climbed to No. 2 in last week’s rankings, but after beating Division II Bowie State on Tuesday, they couldn’t complete a second-half comeback against Wisconsin in a 70-57 loss.

Iowa remained at No. 4, making the Hawkeyes the highest ranked team in the Big Ten.

Other ranked Big Ten teams include No. 8 Michigan State, No. 17 Purdue and No. 22 Indiana. The complete rankings can be found here.

The Terps travel to Minnesota on Thursday before returning home Sunday for a rematch with Michigan. Coach Mark Turgeon’s squad lost to the Wolverines, 70-67, on Jan. 12.
