The Terrapins volleyball team fell in a 3-0 rout to Florida State. The Seminoles committed just 17 errors en route to recording a .238 hitting percentage.

Libero Sarah Harper recorded 19 digs, pushing her career total to 1,539. She is now just 43 digs behind Beth Gillming for third-place in Terps history.

Outside hitter Mary Cushman smacked 11 kills to go along with 12 digs.

The Terps (10-7, 2-3 ACC) didn’t threaten in the first set, as Florida State easily took the frame, 25-19.

They nearly came away with a victory in the next set, however. Middle blocker Adreené Elliott put the Terps ahead, 22-21 with a kill. The Seminoles won four of the next five points, though, and captured the set, 25-23.

The Seminoles swiftly dismissed the Terps in the final set, 25-14.

Setter Julia Anderson and libero Amy Dion combined for 21 assists in the effort. Last match against Virginia Tech, the two totaled 45 assists.

The Terps will look to rebound when they finish their road trip at Miami on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
