Mike Locksley is quickly becoming known around the DMV for sealing the deal with football recruits. On Sunday, he sealed the deal for several students at a Chipotle fundraiser for the Jordan McNair Foundation.

Locksley stood in line at the register in the College Park Chipotle and paid for the first $790 worth of purchases. According to a tweet from student body president Jonathan Allen, the line at the restaurant was outside the door.

Chipotle always seems to be busy on Route 1, but students, and student-athletes, made a point to make it out in support of the McNair foundation and football program.

Without athletic events on campus, players from multiple sports teams were out at the fundraiser where Chipotle agreed to donate 33 percent of all sales from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The fundraiser caused controversy earlier in the week when football players said that NCAA rules barred them from tweeting out the flyer for the fundraiser. They were later able to spread the word using a flyer without the Chipotle logo.
