Kurt Vonnegut’s Slaughterhouse-Five is “one of the world’s great anti-war books,” according to Amazon. But what Amazon doesn’t tell you about the novel is that it also effectively doubles as something you can have autographed by future NBA players when you don’t have any other viable options around.
Julian Bregstone, a senior at Montgomery Blair High School, proved the latter part of the above paragraph to be true on Monday. The teenager was traveling on the same flight as Diamond Stone, and he bravely convinced the recently-declared Terrapin to ink one of the pages of his Slaughterhouse copy:

Mr. Stelzner better not have gotten too salty when Bregstone informed him that his book’s condition had been somewhat compromised by a probable-first-rounder’s signature.
With Stone making it official that he’s heading to the Association after one season at Maryland, students now have a limited time to follow in Bregstone’s footsteps. Start keeping your 7-Eleven receipts and totally unjust DOTS tickets, Terps fans — Diamond has already shown he’s willing to autograph random objects, and it’s your turn to join in on the fun.
