UMD SGA to investigate renaming Francis Scott Key Hall
The committee— called the Key Legacy Assessment Board— will determine whether Francis Scott Key aligns with this university’s mission and values.
It shouldn’t take UMD so long to do the bare minimum for anti-racism
Francis Scott Key was a slaveowner. It’s obvious that his name has no place at UMD.
UMD community members can now submit requests to change or remove campus building names
