A Maryland football player was taken to a hospital during Wednesday’s practice, a Maryland athletics spokesperson confirmed to The Diamondback.
The move was “done so out of precaution,” the spokesperson wrote. The player is now back with the team, the spokesperson said Thursday.
The spokesperson said the team won’t be sharing any more information on the incident.
