Parts of Regents Drive are temporarily closed because of a water main break, according to an email sent Sunday night from University of Maryland DOTS.
The water main break will close all traffic between Stadium Drive and Industrial Lane, near the J.M. Patterson Building, according to the Department of Transportation Services’ email, which was sent to university micromobility users.
The break is expected to take several days to repair, according to the email.
In the email, DOTS suggested community members take a detour that travels along Stadium Drive to the Yahentamitsi Dining Hall. DOTS also recommended users allocate more time for travel.
This university did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
