Maryland football is one of 31 offers for a top-three prospect in the 2026 class. The team extended offers to two more 2026 recruits, one of whom is a dual-sport athlete.
The Terps also made the top-12 for a 2025 recruit who is the No. 6 recruit in his state.
Offers
Immanuel Iheanacho, 2026, offensive tackle, Georgetown Prep (Rockville)
Iheanacho’s hometown Terps joined Alabama, Ohio State and Georgia, among other Power Four schools in his first grouping. Iheanacho is ranked as a five-star, according to the 247Sports Composite, and is the No. 1 recruit in Maryland. He is also the No. 3 prospect nationally and No. 2 offensive tackle.
On3 reporter Chad Simmons said in October that Iheanacho favors Penn State over other schools because of academics. The tackle skipped a visit to Tennessee to watch Maryland’s win over USC.
The junior also plays basketball for the Hoyas, playing power forward and center.
Ben Congdon, 2026, offensive tackle, Tuscarawas Valley (Mineral City, Ohio)
Maryland handed Congdon his fifth Division I offer on Oct. 30 — a list that has grown to six teams following N.C. State’s offer two days later.

The lineman is an unranked recruit who didn’t receive an offer until August. The 6-foot-7, 270-pounderalso wrestles. The Terps previously picked up a 2025 commitment in Delmar White, who also wrestles and plays football.
Congdon’s other offers are from Kentucky, Marshall, Syracuse and South Florida. He has yet to take an official visit with any school.
Brayden Rouse, 2026, linebacker, Kell (Marietta, Georgia)
Coach Michael Locksley added to Rouse’s growing list.. Since September, the linebacker has received 10 of his 18 offers. Maryland offered the junior on Nov. 1.
Rouse has tallied 88 tackles through 10 games this season, also adding 3.5 sacks and 15 tackles for loss. He contributes on offense for the Longhorns as well — he’s caught five touchdowns this season. The linebacker also plays basketball and competes in track and field events.

The junior is a three-star according to the 247Sports Composite, slotting as the No. 41 recruit in Georgia and the No. 31 linebacker nationally.

Donovan Murph, 2025, wide receiver, Irmo (Columbia, South Carolina)
Murph announced his top 12 schools Oct. 31. Maryland joined Penn State, Georgia and Ohio State as some of the schools pursuing the four-star.
He is the No. 6 recruit in South Carolina and the No. 41 receiver nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Murph hasn’t had his official visit to Maryland yet, most recently traveling to Clemson and South Carolina.
The receiver was reclassified from the 2026 to the 2025 class. In the 2023 season, he caught 57 passes for 1,084 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Irma went 13-0 and reached the South Carolina 4A semifinals for the first time in school history.
