Trader Joe’s will open its College Park location on Oct. 27, according to an email from a company spokesperson.
The 11,000 square foot store will be the 10th in Maryland and first in Prince George’s County. It will be located at 4429 Calvert Road near the College Park Shopping Center.
The interior will include murals of University of Maryland buildings, its football stadium and the College Park airport.
The company has hired more than 100 crew members for the College Park store, with hiring efforts still underway.
Ahead of the store’s opening next Thursday, there will be a ceremonial ribbon cutting ceremony.
Operating hours will be 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
