University of Maryland Police responded to a reported burglary in South Campus Commons 1 early Friday morning, according to a UMD Alert.
A student heard a noise coming from the front door of the apartment and found an unknown individual in the common space at about 3:30 a.m., according to the alert. The student asked the individual to leave, according to police. The individual left, police wrote.
University Police’s criminal investigations unit is investigating this incident.
