Police are investigating after an adult male was shot inside The Enclave apartments at around 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, according to a Prince George’s County police spokesperson.
University of Maryland and Prince George’s County police officers are searching the area for the suspects, 3 to 5 males armed with rifles.
The victim was taken to the hospital and appears to be in stable condition, officer Antonia Washington said.
According to a UMD alert sent at 8:45 p.m., the police do not know the suspects’ direction of travel.
Police issued an “all clear” by 9:19 p.m. and officers will continue to patrol the area, a follow-up alert read.
County police are investigating the incident.
