An off-campus robbery was reported near the intersection of Knox Road and Rhode Island Avenue Wednesday night, according to a University of Maryland Alert.
A male victim described the suspect as a male with a “full face” and rounded glasses, according to an alert. The suspect is believed to have a weapon, according to the initial alert. He was last seen heading toward the College Park Metro Station. He is not in custody.
The initial alert was sent shortly before 11 p.m., and an “All Clear” was issued at about 11:30 p.m., after officers were unable to find the suspect, according to a subsequent alert.
Prince George’s County Police are investigating the incident.
