What to watch for Maryland: Slow starts
In each of Maryland’s last two games, the Terps started very slow in the first few minutes. Against Purdue it didn’t matter as the Boilermakers were only able to enjoy a 5-0 lead before the under-16 media timeout in a game the Terps still won. However, Michigan was able to jump out to a 10-2 lead before the first commercial of the game, and the early eight-point cushion certainly helped the Wolverines.
On the road, getting out to a quick start is helpful to calm an eager and energetic student section, but allowing yourself to trail by eight points puts you behind the eight ball awfully early in a game. With Maryland playing another road game on Tuesday, the Terps will look to calm the Hawkeye crowd.
What to watch for Iowa: Dramatic finishes
Just watch the video in the tweet and hope Maryland’s not in a position where Iowa has the final shot with a chance to win the game.
