The Wild Card round in the NFL wrapped up last weekend, with four teams advancing to play in the divisional round.
There are several former Maryland players that are still on teams fighting it out for a Super Bowl, but this time, we’re focusing on a new addition to the league.
That’s right, star wide receiver D.J. Moore of the Carolina Panthers is back in the news for what else but his domination on the field.
Pro Football Focus on Saturday tweeted out grades for the best rookie wide-outs in the NFL for the 2018 season, and sure enough, Moore’s name was at the top.

Playing in all 16 games this season, Moore caught 55 passes for 788 yards and two touchdowns. The former Maryland star also carried the ball 13 times for 172 rushing yards.
We can only hope that this is the beginning of a fruitful career for Mr. Moore and a fruitful career for us to continue to make jokes about how he was drafted ahead of Calvin Ridley.
