University of Maryland Police responded to several reports of injured or sick people and indecent exposure over the past week, among other incidents, according to police reports.
Assault
On Wednesday at 1:09 a.m., University Police responded to a reported fight on the 4400 block of Knox Road near Cornerstone Grill & Loft, said police spokesman Sgt. Rosanne Hoaas. An officer witnessed a male hit another male in the face, causing a minor injury, Hoaas said.
The officer arrested a man and charged him with one count of second-degree assault and one count of disorderly conduct.

Suspicious person/auto report
On Thursday at 5:18 p.m., University Police responded to a suspicious person/auto report at the College Park Fire Station, Company 12 at 8115 Baltimore Ave., according to police logs. The incident occurred at 4:45 p.m.
That same day at 5:49 p.m, University Police responded to another suspicious person/auto report at Edward St. John Learning and Teaching Center.
Both cases are closed by exception.
Warrant/Summons Service
On Tuesday at 4:55 a.m, a University Police officer responded to the 3400 block of Tulane Drive near the Graduate Hills apartments for a black sedan playing music too loudly, Hoaas said.
The officer determined that the vehicle’s owner had an open warrant for failure to appear in court for a traffic violation. The owner was taken to the Department of Corrections in Hyattsville for processing.

Later that day at 2:47 p.m., a University Police officer responded to the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity house at 4300 block of Knox Road after receiving a notification from license plate readers, according to police logs.
The vehicle’s owner had a warrant for failing to appear in a Montgomery County court, Hoaas said.
The officer located the vehicle, a black sedan with Maryland tags, unoccupied in the lot outside of the house. The owner was taken to the Department of Corrections in Hyattsville.
