University of Maryland Police responded to an emergency call from Charles Hall for an apparent suicide Sunday night, a police spokesperson said.
Police responded to the dorm, located at 4405 Lehigh Rd., at 8:17 p.m., according to university police logs. Upon arrival, police found “an individual who was deceased,” spokesperson Sgt. Rosanne Hoaas said.
“It appears at this point to be a suicide,” she said. “We won’t have the official word until the medical examiner’s report becomes final.”
