The Terps will join the Midshipmen, Providence and Wichita State as this year’s participants.
The games will be broadcasted on the CBS Sports Network, with Maryland’s game against Navy expected to start at 8:30 p.m. EST.
Navy is coming off their first 20-win season since their 1999-2000 campaign and finished third in the Patriot League.
The Terps are coming off a disappointing 19-13 season, missing the NCAA tournament and NIT, but college basketball experts have them ranked high this season, cracking several preseason top-25 lists.
Maryland will be meeting the Midshipmen on the hardwood for the first since 1985, where Len Bias and David Robinson battled each other in the NCAA tournament.
Maryland’s record against Navy sits at 30-27, with the first meeting against the service academy taking place in the 1924-25 season.
It’s always good for Maryland to be playing other schools in the state, especially when it’s their first matchup with a school in more than 30 years.
