University of Maryland Police responded to a report of a burglary on the 4600 block of Norwich Road, near the Leonardtown Community, shortly before noon Monday, according to a UMD Alert.
The suspect went into the house through a window, stole items from an “unoccupied bedroom” and left the house, according to the alert. A resident was in the house at the time, but they didn’t see the suspect, the alert read.
University Police responded at 11:38 a.m., but Prince George’s County Police are investigating it, according to the alert, which was sent at 4:47 p.m.
