An armed robbery was reported at the Exxon in College Park Sunday night, according to Prince George’s County Police.

Two male suspects entered the gas station’s store on Baltimore Avenue at 7:30 p.m., said county police Officer Ameera Abdullah. The suspects went to the register, she said, displayed a handgun and demanded cash.

Abdullah said the clerk complied, opened the cash register and gave them the money. After taking the cash, Abdullah said the suspects fled the store, and detectives responded to the scene soon after. No one was hurt in the incident, she confirmed.

The first suspect had a black handgun and was wearing a white crochet mask, a black hoodie and dark pants, Abdullah said, and the second wore a red hoodie, dark pants and a Maryland state flag scarf as a mask.

The case is still under investigation, and the suspects are not in custody. They were last seen on Berwyn House Road in the Lakeland neighborhood, read the alert.
