University of Maryland Police are investigating a report of an unlawful touching incident that occurred Monday afternoon, according to a UMD alert.
A female student told police a man unlawfully touched her in front of the Main Administration Building at about 3:30 p.m., according to the alert. The man then walked toward McKeldin Library, according to the alert.
Police are still searching for the suspect, described as an African-American male who is about 5-foot-10 and 35 years old with a beard, the alert read. An “initial video review” of cameras near the scene corroborated the suspect’s description, according to the alert.
The incident was reported at about 5 p.m., and the alert was sent at 10:44 p.m.
