Maryland football has the fourth member of its 2019 class after three-star offensive tackle Parker Moorer verbally committed Monday.
Moorer attends Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte and is ranked the No. 37 player in North Carolina, according to 247Sports composite rankings.
Moorer tweeted pictures from a visit to College Park on April 4 and commended the Terps’ “great coaches, campus and facilities.” In a tweet announcing his commitment Monday, the 6-foot-5, 265-pound offensive tackle added that “Maryland can provide me with many opportunities for my life, after my playing days are over.”
Moorer also held offers from West Virginia, Louisville and Temple, among others.
Moorer is Maryland’s third commit this month. With his addition, the Terps’ 2019 class moves to No. 40 in the 247Sports composite rankings.
