Maryland men’s lacrosse midfielder Logan Wisnauskas was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week for the second time in as many weeks, the conference announced Tuesday.

Wisnauskas recorded a hat trick in the No. 1 Terps’ 13-12 win against then-No. 15 Penn State on Sunday. He scored two goals in the fourth quarter to help coach John Tillman’s team complete a comeback from its first halftime deficit of the campaign.

Wisnauskas has scored 24 times in 10 games, resulting in a 2.4 goals per game average that ranks third in the nation among freshmen.

The Sykesville native has started every game for the Terps.

Maryland is scheduled to face No. 8 Rutgers on Sunday at Maryland Stadium.
