What to watch for the Terps: Bruno Fernando
Mark Turgeon’s best big man busted out of his funk on Tuesday in Lincoln, putting up 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting against Nebraska. Michal Cekovsky being healthy again gives the Terps a little more depth in their frontcourt, but Fernando will still play a big role for Maryland against Rutgers.

What to watch for the Scarlet Knights: Deshawn Freeman
On the other side, Rutgers’ senior big man is struggling this season like never before. He’s shooting just 39.9 percent from the field, which is unconscionable for someone who lives in the paint. Steve Pikiell benched Freeman for the Scarlet Knights’ win over Northwestern on Tuesday, and it remains to be seen if he’ll ride the pine in College Park.
