The Boilermakers (16-9, 7-4 B1G), who are part of Charlie Creme’s “Last Four In”, need a big win to secure an NCAA tournament bid, and Thursday may be their best chance. However, the Terps have won seven in a row, and may be playing their best basketball of the season as they make a run at another Big Ten regular season title.

At least Purdue is on the right side of the bubble. Creme has the Golden Gophers (19-6, 8-4 B1G) as part of his “First Four Out” and they REALLY need this victory. Minnesota is red-hot, having won five of six, and redshirt junior guard Kenisha Bell’s 20 points per game could give the Terps some issues.
Men’s Lacrosse
Tuesday 2/13 vs. Marist at 5:00 p.m.
Streaming: BTN2Go — Connor Newcomb and Noah Gross
Student Radio: WMUC Sports — Sean Mahoney and Erin Taylor
After starting their title defense with a 10-4 win over Navy on Saturday, the Terps take on Marist (0-2) in a midweek game — a situation in which John Tillman’s Maryland teams are 11-1. Despite losing a lot of their championship-winning offense, the Terps have added freshman star Bubba Fairman, who scored three goals in his debut.
Saturday 2/17 @ High Point at 12:00 p.m.
Streaming: Big South Network
The Terps will hit the road for the first time this season as they take on High Point (0-1) on Saturday. No. 1 Duke defeated the Panthers 18-6 over the weekend, so expect the second-ranked Terps to do the same.
Women’s Lacrosse
Saturday 2/17 @ No. 3 Florida at 12:00 p.m.
Streaming: Youtube
After gliding to an easy 18-7 win over William & Mary on Sunday, the Terps will face their first real test on the road against Florida (1-0). The Gators may be ranked third in the country, but when these two teams met last season in College Park, Maryland cruised to an 18-8 victory, and the defending champs look primed to do so again.
Baseball

Saturday 2/17 @ Tennessee at 2:00 p.m.
Sunday 2/18 @ Tennessee at 1:00 p.m.

The Terps open up a new season and a new era in Tennessee on Friday. It will be the third straight season that the Terps play an SEC team on the road, going 1-5 in the previous two years. However, the Volunteers struggled last season, lost their two best hitters, and have hired a new head coach. Now it’s time for new head coach Rob Vaughn to start the season off with some statement victories.
Softball
Saturday 2/17 vs. Delaware at 9:00 a.m.
Saturday 2/17 @ No. 13 Auburn at 2:00 p.m.
Sunday 2/18 vs. St. Francis (PA) at 10:00 a.m.
Sunday 2/18 @ No. 13 Auburn at 12:30 p.m.
After going a disappointing 1-4 in its tournament at UCLA last weekend, the Maryland softball team will look to pull it together at the Auburn Invitational. The two games against the Tigers (6-0) will be tough, but the Terps will have a few chances to pick up a win against Delaware and St. Francis (PA) (3-2).
Wrestling

Sunday 2/18 vs. Ohio at 3:00 p.m.

The Terps have had another tough season, but the team came close to an upset of No. 19 Minnesota in its 26-22 loss on Sunday. Now the Terps have two more chances at gaining some momentum before the Big Ten Championships start in March.
