What to watch for the Terps: Jared Nickens

With injuries decimating Maryland’s depth, Mark Turgeon has given more playing time to his reserves in recent games. Nickens made the most of his 47 combined minutes against Gardner-Webb and Catholic, going 6-of-8 on 3-pointers and scoring 20 total points. The Terps will continue to rely on the senior against the Knights to spell Anthony Cowan, Kevin Huerter and co.

What to watch for the Knights: Aggressive defense

For a 3-7 club that lost by 38 to Rutgers (yes, that Rutgers), Fairleigh Dickinson has had an OK defense this year. The team has forced 17.1 turnovers per game, which ranks 31st in the nation. Maryland’s had some well-documented problems with ball security this season, so the Terps better be careful when they take on the Knights.
