Prince George’s County Police are investigating a burglary that took place near the University of Maryland’s campus Wednesday morning, according to a safety notice.
The burglary took place in the 4500 block of Hartwick Road, according to the safety notice. At about 4:45 a.m., a man was sleeping in his bedroom when the suspect opened the door and turned on the light. The man yelled and the suspect left.
University of Maryland Police were notified of the burglary at about 5:30 a.m., according to the safety notice.
