Prince George’s County Police are investigating a fourth degree sex offense that took place near the University of Maryland’s campus Sunday morning, according to a UMD Alert.
A man entered the back door of a building on the 7500 block of Girard Avenue and touched a woman before fleeing in an unknown direction, according to the alert.
The suspect is described as a man who is between about 5 foot 6 and 5 foot 9 and in his 20s. He was said to be wearing a gray T-shirt and a white hat, according to the alert.
The suspect was not in custody as of about 5:30 a.m., when University Police sent the alert to the campus community.
