Ah, March. Where the country fulfills one of its greatest traditions – filling out a bracket.
Everyone from ESPN personalities to entertainers to random people in your office (and our very own DBK sports editors) take a crack at predicting who will emerge victorious in sports’ most wild tournament.
Maryland’s very own Gov. Larry Hogan has also crafted his own bracket – and has made a bold prediction for his home state.
You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one…#GoTerps pic.twitter.com/Ijzb4CKdQf

While Hogan’s prediction of his state’s flagship school will earn him some love, predicting Duke to make the Final Four definitely won’t earn him MD support.
He also refused to go out on a limb and predict Maryland’s other university in the tournament, Mount St. Mary’s, to stun the world against Villanova.
Maryland is actually barely favored to win against its matchup Xavier, and some have gone so far as to say its the NCAA’s “most over-seeded team.”
Here’s hoping Hogan knows basketball as well as he knows state politics.
