Incoming Winter Storm Stella has closed the University of Maryland campus from 9 p.m. Monday through all of Tuesday, announced university President Wallace Loh on Twitter Monday afternoon.

Students replied with a variety of photos and videos, ranging from “my longest yeah boy ever” to a gif of Drake cheering at a sports game.

While school is closed, some local businesses will remain open or adjust their hours. If you’re trying to figure out how to spend your snow day — and where to eat — here’s a breakdown of openings and closings on the campus and along Route 1.

Campus:

Dining Services will have reduced dining hall hours on Tuesday, and shops and cafés except for the 24 Shop and The Commons Shop will be closed. Ritchie Coliseum, Stamp Student Union, the Health Center pharmacy and all the libraries on the campus will also be closed Tuesday, according to staff at those locations. Eppley Recreation Center will have reduced hours.

However, students looking for their breakfast and coffee fix will be happy to know Bagel Place and Starbucks will most likely be open during regular hours.

“[Closing] is pretty much based on the day of the apparent storm,” said Bagel Place shift manager Simeon Alexander, adding that “the owner is pretty much determined to stay open” unless power outages or travel delays prevent employees from getting to work.

Starbucks is equipped with a snow team, said shift supervisor Paul Miller. As a result, if it snows and the store is still open, those within accessible traveling distance can work during the storm. Below are some other businesses that may still be open for business:

Blaze Pizza: 11 a.m. to midnight

Nandos Peri-Peri: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Board and Brew: 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., or will open late if the weather is bad enough

Town Hall Liquors: 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Cornerstone Grill and Loft: 11:30 a.m. to 1:40 a.m.

R.J. Bentley’s: opening between noon and 2 p.m. and closing at regular 2 a.m. time

CVS: open 24/7

Target Express: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
