Missing University of Maryland student Kaitlyn George boarded a bus headed to Norfolk, Virginia from Baltimore at 1:33 p.m. on Friday, according to a UMD alert.
A witness reported that they saw George on a Charm City Circulator bus that day at 8:40 a.m., according to the alert. George was then seen on security video at 11:32 a.m. entering the Baltimore Greyhound bus station, and purchased a ticket.
The bus was scheduled to stop at Union Station in Washington; Richmond, Virginia; and Hampton, Virginia.
George was first reported missing to University of Maryland Police on Nov. 10 at 6:36 p.m., after she failed to meet a friend at Eppley Recreation Center at about 5 p.m. to go on a hiking trip.
Investigators are continuing to follow up on investigative leads and tips. This incident is still under investigation. Those with information on George’s whereabouts should contact police at 301-405-3555.
