Student groups at the University of Maryland are sponsoring various buses to help students vote early.

The Student Government Association, MaryPIRG and the National Pan-Hellenic Council have arranged for buses to pick students up from Stamp Student Union and take them to the College Park Community Center, where early voting will take place between Oct. 27 and Nov. 3.

The SGA-sponsored buses run from 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. on weekdays and 3 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. on weekends during the early voting period.

The MaryPIRG and NPHC-sponsored buses are available on Oct. 28 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with buses departing every 20 minutes.

Any student who is registered to vote within Prince George’s County is eligible to vote early at the community center, according to the SGA’s website.

Residents who have not registered to vote can sign up at the community center with proof of residency and a valid federal ID, according to the SGA’s website.
