Three-star athlete Jalen Browder verbally committed to the Maryland football team Sunday via Twitter.

At 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds, Browder is the No. 51 athlete in the country and the No. 69 player in Georgia, according to 247sports. He chose the Terps over Louisville, Missouri and Ole Miss among others.
Browder is the third player from Georgia in the Terps’ 2017 class, joining wide receivers Sean Nelson and Carlos Carriere. Nelson is the No. 60 player in Georgia, while Carriere is ranked No. 73 by 247sports.
The Dallas, Georgia, native is the 19th commit in coach DJ Durkin’s first full recruiting class.
As a junior at East Paulding High School , Browder racked up 837 receiving yards on 63 catches and scored 10 total touchdowns. He was utilized in the backfield in addition to lining up as a receiver.
